Delete your account

Effective October 4, 2026

You can permanently delete your TracePlanes account and the data stored with it at any time. Reckoned Force, LLC operates TracePlanes. Deleting an account cannot be undone.

Delete it yourself

In the app: open Account, then tap Delete account and confirm.

On the website: open traceplanes.com, sign in, press Account at the top right, then choose Delete account and confirm.

Can’t sign in? Ask us to delete it

Email support@traceplanes.com from the address on the account with the subject “Delete my TracePlanes account”. We will confirm by replying to that address and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What is deleted

Your email address and sign-in records, sessions, saved aircraft, alert settings and home area, alert history, push notification tokens, synced notebook entries, and every notebook photo stored on our servers. If you have a web subscription, we cancel it first and delete your billing customer record, so you are not charged again. If we cannot cancel the subscription, nothing is deleted and you are told so.

What is not deleted, and why

Notes and photos kept only on your phone or in your browser stay there until you remove the app or clear its data. Stripe keeps payment and tax records for the period the law requires. Subscriptions bought through Apple or Google must be cancelled in your Apple or Google account settings; deleting your TracePlanes account does not cancel them. Short-lived server logs expire on the hosting provider’s schedule, as described in the Privacy Policy.
