Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the TracePlanes website and mobile app, operated by Reckoned Force, LLC. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Questions: support@traceplanes.com.

Aircraft tracking and its limits

TracePlanes is an informational aircraft-viewing service. Positions and other information may be delayed, estimated, incomplete, missing, or incorrect. Animation may interpolate or briefly extrapolate reported positions. A “live” label does not guarantee real-time accuracy. Session trails are limited observations gathered while using the app, not a complete historical flight record.

Do not use TracePlanes for navigation, air traffic control, collision avoidance, emergency response, or other safety-critical decisions. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, coverage, the identity of a tracked target, or any particular aircraft’s availability.

Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 13 and meet any higher minimum age required where you live. If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement, a parent or guardian must authorize your use. Supply accurate account information, protect sign-in access, and tell us about suspected unauthorized use. Features may depend on email verification, provider availability, and an active entitlement.

Free access, trials, and subscriptions

The public map is available without a paid subscription. Where offered, Plus includes saved aircraft and snapshot exports. A no-card trial lasts 14 days and starts on the first authenticated account access after verification. A trial alone does not start a paid subscription or automatically charge you. Trial eligibility is limited to one trial per account.

Paid subscriptions are optional and purchased through hosted checkout. The checkout displays the price, currency, billing interval, applicable taxes, and first charge date. Monthly or annual subscriptions renew at the applicable recurring price until canceled. If you subscribe with more than 48 hours remaining on your trial, checkout may preserve the remaining trial; with 48 hours or less, payment starts immediately as disclosed before purchase.

Use the account’s subscription-management portal to cancel or update billing. Cancellation stops future renewals according to the portal’s displayed terms; access generally continues through the paid period. Contact us for billing issues or refund requests. Any mandatory cancellation, withdrawal, or refund rights under applicable law remain in effect. Price changes will be communicated before they apply where required. Native app purchase availability may differ from the website.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to harass, threaten, stalk, or unlawfully monitor anyone; attempt unauthorized access; interfere with security or availability; bypass rate limits or payment controls; create fraudulent trials; or redistribute third-party content in violation of its license. You are responsible for complying with applicable law when using information from the service.

Data, photographs, and ownership

TracePlanes software, branding, and interface are owned by the operator or its licensors. Aircraft data is sourced from ADSB.lol under the Open Database License 1.0. Map data and tiles retain their providers’ attribution and usage requirements. Aircraft photographs belong to their respective photographers and providers; a displayed photo or link does not grant permission to reproduce it.

Exports remain subject to applicable source licenses and attribution requirements. These terms do not remove rights granted directly under an open-data or open-source license. Third-party services, links, authentication, and payment processing may be subject to additional terms.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains account information, location permissions, device storage, third-party requests, and your choices. Please read it before creating an account.

Service changes and suspension

We may modify the service, interrupt it for maintenance, or restrict access to address abuse, security issues, or legal requirements. We may suspend accounts that materially violate these terms. Where required, we will provide notice and applicable remedies for changes affecting paid service. You may stop using TracePlanes at any time; request account deletion through support@traceplanes.com and manage subscription cancellation separately.

Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. To that same extent, the operator is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on tracking information, service interruptions, or third-party content. Nothing here excludes liability or consumer protections that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights relating to fraud, intentional misconduct, or other non-excludable liability.

Disputes and updates

Please contact support@traceplanes.com so we can try to resolve concerns. These terms do not require arbitration or waive rights to courts or remedies available under applicable consumer law. We may update these terms and will revise the effective date and provide additional notice where required. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
